Who is at Box Road
OnPoint Network is a commercial electrical contractor. The business has been going since 2017 and it runs out of one place: Unit 9, 58 Box Road, Taren Point NSW 2229. There is no franchise behind it and no call centre in front of it. When you ring 1300 593 400 you get the business.
In 2025 OnPoint won Small Contracting Business of the Year at the NECA NSW Awards. NECA's own post about the award notes the business was established in 2017.
The workshop, and why your board is built here
Taren Point is where switchboards and switchboard schedules get built and staged before they go to site. It is a deliberate order of work. The board is assembled, labelled and checked off site, so the day the switchroom is ready the board is ready too, rather than being assembled in a half finished plant room with three other trades waiting.
The same unit holds the crews, the vehicles and the stock. Taren Point sits in the Sutherland Shire, a few minutes off the M1 at Captain Cook Drive, which is a large part of why the run north into the city, west out to Liverpool and Blacktown, and south down the coast all work from the one base.

Cessnock and Walgett are our two regional jobs. Walgett IGA is roughly four hundred kilometres from Box Road, which is the honest edge of the service area rather than a claim to cover the state.
